To Live or to Live a Good Life
Nino´s project will reflect on consume practices and aims to bring a reflection to people on what they consume. She has developed an online survey where people may answer about what they consum and how it is related to their happiness or not; the survey creates then “the good life index”. The project also consists of an installation of 365 ceramic bowls combined with photographs of people from different backgrounds presenting facts and figures of what they consume on their daily life and relating these life´s costs to their income: the meals they consume, the luxury items they buy, the cost of them, the energy needed to make and run them.
The artists will be working with questions such as: “How do you live?”, “Are you living a good life?”, “What do you really need?”, “Could that luxury item make you happy for the rest of the year?”, “Where is your real happiness?”
