“Incomplete”

Phyoe Kyi (Myanmar)

Artist graduated in Painting from the University of Culture in Yangon, Myanmar. He has done several solo exhibitions in Myanmar and participated in group in Exhibitions in Myanmar, Japan, Bangladesh and Germany.
Phyoe works in performance and video art and has directed several short films. He is a member of Green Net, a local group of artists whose works aims to improve knowledge on environmental issues by creating and organizing multi – media exhibitions dealing with environmental and social themes.

“Incomplete”

Installation with five video projections, which will be seen one at a time depending were the viewers are located, the five  videos will be simultaneously seen only when there are more than five viewers. The images deal with climate change, obsessions of society, struggle for basic needs and the ideals of a good life. On the ideals of a good life people from villages in Myanmar will be interviewed.
