Sikoki Alafuro (Artist)
Nigerian industrial designer and founder of Studio Sikoki, a virtual multidisciplinary design and art studio producing intellectually challenging and socially relevant work. Sikoki has a Bachelor´s degree in Communication, Authoring & Design from Coventry University, UK and a Master´s degree in Industrial Design from The University of Arts in Philadelphia, USA.
She has received several awards for her work; she was one of the top ten finalists in Design Innovation at the Well – Tech in Milan, for her work Closthetics, a prosthetic wardrobe that relieves rheumatic pain by using ©Farabloc which is an electromagnetic shielding fabric containing extremely fine stainless steel fibers and nylon, with an appearance similar to linen.
Her work has been shown at several exhibitions in Nigeria, USA, Turkey and the UK.
Adebimpe Adebambo (Artist)
Nigerian fashion designer, graduated in painting from the Yaba College of Technology. she created and directs Beampeh, a fashion label which designs and produces fashion, accessories and jewelry.
Bimpe has participated in several fashion shows, exhibitions, competitions and trade fairs and has had her designs showcased in the media. With clients ranging between ages 12 and 70 of all colors and creeds, her brand has mass appeal and never loses sight of her roots while keeping international standards.
Segun Adefila (Artist)
Segun Adefila is a performance artist based in Lagos Nigeria. He holds a B.A. in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and is a founding member and Artistic Director of the Crown Troupe of Africa, a dance-theater Company in Bariga, Lagos State. He has worked extensively in the integrated arts of dance, drama, music and visual arts. He has been the subject matter of an award winning documentary Bariga Boy by Femi Odugbemi. Segun has performed in Nigeria, UK, Germany and Trinidad and Tobago
Victor Okhai (Documentation)
Nigerian film director, producer, scriptwriter and film consultant will be documenting SurVivart Nigeria.
He is one of the founders of the Directors´Guild of Nigeria, currently he is the director general of the International Film and Broadcast Academy Lagos.
Victor is also a consultant to many organizations on film, television production and broadcasting including Channels Television, Imo Television, AIT, MBI TV, Deutsche Welle African Department, BBC World Service Trust, Goethe Institute Lagos, The German Embassy in Nigeria, and Berlin International Film Festival.
Victor Okhai has been on the jury of many local and international film festivals.
