My work in progress for substitute shopping bags.
For every sale in markets and supermarkets, a plastic bag is given.
They are often a menace to the society as they are neither biodegradable nor recycled here in Nigeria.
I wish to substitute plastic shopping bags with biodegradable shopping bags starting with my own label as I am a culprit too!
For the SurvivArt project, I am collaborating with students from the Hospitality industry.
Their fruit and vegetable styling pieces done with local fruits and vegetables will be transferred onto the bags and in addition, they will carry slogans encouraging healthy Lifestyles and cosumption of local fruits and vegetables.
